Our aim is to bring fresh figs to the dining table of New Zealanders
The orchard is located in Mangawhai on the temperate east coast of the North Island. We are 1 hour and 30 minutes north of Auckland. ​We have 300 fruiting trees and grow two varieties of figs. We use horticulture methods based on organic practices to produce healthy, succulent fruit.​During the season, February - April, we sell fresh figs directly from the orchard chiller.
We also take orders via phone or email for pick up or for local delivery. If you are a local resident or visitor to Mangawhai call by and have a taste and take home a bag of fresh figs.​
​The coming season looks promising with green leafy trees and lots of fruit appearing. Over the past year we have worked hard to put nutrients back into the soil after all the rains and water logging of 2023-24.
We are preparing to harvest about mid February.
